Locked out of your home?

It happens to everyone: the door swings shut behind you, keys go missing, or a lock stops working. Our mobile locksmith service is set up for exactly this. We open most residential locks without damaging the door or frame.

Homes we work on

  • Victorian and Federation terraces with older mortice locks
  • Freestanding houses with deadlocks and screen doors
  • Units and apartments, including strata buildings
  • Granny flats, studios and rear lane garages
  • Sliding doors, side gates and back doors

Damage-free entry first

We use specialist tools to open locks the way they were designed to work. Drilling or forcing is a last resort, and if a lock does have to be removed we can fit a new one straight away so your home is secure.

Lost your keys rather than locked them inside?

If your keys are gone for good, anyone who finds them may be able to get in. We can rekey your locks or replace them on the same visit so the lost keys no longer work.

Areas we cover

We provide house lockouts services in Newtown and across the Inner West and inner Sydney, including:

Questions

House Lockouts FAQ

Do I need to prove I live there?

Yes. For everyone's safety we ask for ID or other proof that you live at the property once the door is open, such as mail, a lease or a bill with the address.

Can you open a deadlocked door?

In most cases, yes. Deadlocks take more time and skill, but they can usually be opened without damage.

I rent. Should I call my landlord first?

You can call us directly to get back inside. If a lock needs replacing, let your landlord or agent know, as they may need a copy of the new keys.
